Looking for inspiration at places around and seekin, as any good man should, to further my horizons, I began checking out other blogs… two of them very much worth mentioning….
The first one a blog called Life in LA… written by a girl who lived in LA taking care of her father for a period of time..its a good one where she, very unlike a normal human, without any kind of overtness or exaggerations, talks about her days. I didn’t read it completely, but it was well written from what I read and it is good one.\
The second one is one more closer to home. It written by Meenakshi Reddy Madhavan. Her blog apparently is a bit more known than mine. Just a bit more. Meenakshi is a special girl as she shares the poster space above my bed with the great Garfield. The eternal inspiration to all lazy folk around the world like me. Anyway, my fellow blogger is an admirable and unabashedly open girl. The girl is hot(from what I see), wild, talented, humorous and has the brilliant quality of not taking herself too seriously(from what I read). But just to make it clear, she is in no way anything better than my princess.
Reading through her work yesterday, I went to one of her topics marked “sex and dating” (ok, I went there first, we are all dirty boys, you see) and read through a post that talked about how men are turning out to be new women. What with all the sensitive and sweethearted men walking around. She rummages about how the men now talk about long lasting relationships and how loving and caring and sharing are more important than “sex”. Do I hear gasps, girls and boys… (yeah, this does go as a continuation of the previous blog.)
Well maybe she must have said it in a way that sounded different, but I think, to a point, she is correct. The men are turning more sensitive yes. The reason is I think related to the exposure that we all go through these days. A man who treats a women bad is considered a disgrace, respecting women is part of the manner necessities, I have personally doubted myself to pick a fight with a women and while I don’t give shit about telling a guy to fuck off or to punch him in the face (that is if he isn’t very strong), I would think a million times before taking bad to a girl for the fear that I might say something wrong.
The gunslingers are not completely out, but they have mellowed down, yes. The new age boys grow up watching all sorts of movies and hardcore pornography that they…..um… have found other ways to satisfy their sexual urges. Its different things that men… boys… thesre days want.
I am sure its kind of good with everybody going poetic and all that these days. Spreads a good atmosphere.
